Manifestation anti WEF: clashes in Geneva

Several hundred anti-globalization took to the streets in Geneva on Saturday to protest the World Economic Forum being held in Davos. Despite the clashes with the police, no one was injured and no major damage.

To avoid a repeat of riots in 2003 during the G8 summit, the Geneva authorities had decided to ban all demonstrations during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
